Properties and characteristics
3-chloropropyl is a colorless flammable liquid, almost insoluble in water and glycerin, but can be mixed with ethanol, ether, ethylene glycol,Benzene, ethyl acetate, and carbon tetrachloride miscible. It is tear-jerking and irritating to the skin.
Uses
